How to make spider plants bloom

How to make spider plants bloom

1. Variety selection

If you want to grow spider plants that can bloom at home, you need to choose varieties that can bloom and are easy to bloom, such as the Buddha beads spider plant, silver heart spider plant, lipstick spider plant, golden edge spider plant, etc. These varieties have the potential to bloom, and the flowers are beautiful and highly ornamental.

2. Preparation of loam

Suitable loam selection is the basis for success, and fertile sandy soil is most suitable. In daily life, you can mix garden soil, leaf mold, peat soil and river sand in a ratio of 6:2:1:1, so that the required nutrients and drainage and ventilation capabilities can be met. After that, the soil needs to be changed in time to ensure the supply of nutrients.

3. Water and nutrients

What is needed for flowering is water and nutrients, and these two aspects directly affect the quality and quantity of flowering. Provide timely supplements during the growing season to support the opening of flowers in the later stage.

4. Lighting

Just place it in a bright room for maintenance, and expose it to scattered light on a daily basis. It must not be exposed to the scorching sun in the summer, but should be exposed appropriately but not excessively.

5. Temperature

Around 15 degrees Celsius is the most suitable temperature for its growth. It cannot be too low, as too low temperature will affect flowering.
