Perilla is a warm-loving plant, and its suitable growth temperature is 18 to 28 degrees, which is a slightly cool climate. It has very good cold resistance. Although it can grow in lower temperatures, the quality will not be very good. It can tolerate low temperatures, but the temperature cannot be lower than one degree, otherwise it will stop growing or even freeze to death.

Perilla growth cycle

The growing period of perilla is about sixty to ninety days. The growth cycle is relatively short, and is divided into four stages: seedling stage, branch growth peak period, flowering period, and fruiting period. Generally, the whole grass can be harvested two and a half months after planting.
