1. Division methodThis method is very easy to operate. When dividing the plant, when new branches at the base of the stem or at the nodes sprout more than three leaves, cut them off together with the fibrous roots. Apply some furnace ash where it is cut. Prepare culture soil containing humus, plant the divided plants separately, provide some shade, and spray some water appropriately. They will take root in about ten days. 2. Cutting methodIt is usually done in late summer and early autumn. Use sterilized scissors to cut off the tillers growing from the stems. In the prepared soil, spray water appropriately and insert it into the soil in clusters. Place it in a cool place and maintain sufficiently high humidity, and new roots will grow in about half a month. 3. Seeding methodThe mirror grass sowing method of propagation is more suitable for Yunnan area, and the above two methods are recommended for other areas. Its seeds are very small, so don't sow them too deep in the soil. It's better to sow them shallowly. If they are sown too deep, it will hinder their germination. After sowing, try to spray water to keep it moist, and do not water it. Heavy water may wash away the seeds. |
