How to hydroponically cultivate hyacinth bulbs (when to start, how long to see the light)

1. How to hydroponically cultivate

1. Bulb: Choose a bulb that is as large as possible, with no scars or damage on the surface. It is growing healthily without any obvious mildew.

2. Container: It is best to choose plexiglass as the material, which has high transparency and a variety of shapes. Clean and set aside.

3. Treatment: There must be a lot of old roots under the larger bulbs, which must be treated before planting. Cut off the old roots without damaging the area underneath. To be on the safe side and prevent mold infection, you can soak it in diluted carbendazim, then take it out and dry it clean.

4. Hydroponics: Fill the container with water, the water level should be about one centimeter higher than the roots, and place it in a dark place to promote root growth and germination. Change the water once a week and wait for the roots to grow.

2. Which month does it start and how long will it take to see the light?

Hydroponics usually starts in September to meet the temperature requirements. After the roots grow out, you can put it where it can get exposure to light. It also needs ventilation, but no direct sunlight.
