Cultivation methods and precautions of Thousand-root Grass

1. Soil

It is best to choose sandy soil for planting gentian, as it will be more beneficial if the soil has good permeability and drainage. When combing the land, you need to loosen the soil, then sprinkle sufficient livestock manure into the soil, such as chicken manure, cow manure, etc., stir it evenly and turn it over before proceeding to the next step of planting.

2. Lighting

It likes sunlight, but should avoid direct sunlight. Generally, 3-4 hours of sunlight per day is best. If grown indoors, it is best to place it in front of a window. If grown outdoors, it is important to keep it moist and well ventilated.

3. Water

Because of its well-developed root system, Thousand-rooted Grass has strong drought resistance, but during the growth process, sufficient water is also conducive to rapid growth, so water should be replenished in time to keep the soil moist to promote rooting and later growth.

4. Temperature

The most suitable temperature is around 26℃. Such a warm environment is conducive to its rapid growth. It is resistant to high temperatures, but severe high temperatures can easily cause the plant leaves to wither. It is afraid of cold, and the temperature generally needs to be above 8℃. Too cold will cause the plant to be frostbitten or die.
