Cultivation methods and precautions of the large leaf green princess

The large-leafed green princess is relatively easy to grow. Its habits are very similar to those of the green ivy. Do not give it too much light, otherwise it will be detrimental to its growth and the leaves will easily turn yellow.

How to grow the big leaf green princess

1. Pot soil

If you want to grow the Green Princess well, it is best to provide it with fertile, loose, well-drained soil. You can use sandy soil rich in humus to plant it, and you can mix it with peat soil and perlite.

2. Temperature

The large leaf green princess prefers a warm and humid growing environment. The most suitable growth temperature is 20-28℃. It can be maintained normally in spring and autumn, and heat prevention and cooling work should be done in summer.

3. Lighting

The large-leafed green princess likes to grow in an environment with sufficient light. The daily light is best about 7-9 hours, but avoid direct sunlight, otherwise the plant will be burned.

4. Pruning

The large-leafed green princess needs regular pruning during the growing season, and the diseased branches, old branches, and overly long branches of the plant should be cut off in time. This can increase the air permeability of the plant and prevent the occurrence of diseases and pests.

5. Moisture

The large leaf green princess has high requirements for water and needs to be replenished with water in time. If the weather is too dry, the amount of watering should be increased and the humidity of the environment should be increased through spraying and other methods.

Precautions for the maintenance of the large leaf green princess

The Green Princess is not resistant to high temperatures. If the temperature is higher than 35℃, the plant will wilt easily, so pay attention to the ambient temperature and maintain a relatively humid environment.
