Huang Li's breeding methods and precautions

Huang Li's breeding methods and precautions

Huangli is a succulent plant with strong habits and is extremely easy to grow. It is the first choice for beginners to grow succulents. This plant is not only heat-resistant, but also frost-resistant, and does not have high requirements for the environment.

Huang Li's breeding method

1. Soil

The plant Huangli has low requirements for soil. It can generally be planted with leaf mold, coal slag, river sand, garden soil, etc. The soil must be loose and breathable.

2. Watering

When caring for Huangli, just adhere to the watering principle of "water thoroughly when the soil is dry", but do not let Huangli be too dehydrated, otherwise it will affect the growth of the plant's roots.

3. Fertilization

During the maintenance of Huangli, sufficient fertilizer needs to be applied, generally once a month or so. You can use special fertilizer for succulents, but do not apply excessively.

4. Lighting

The Huangli plant loves sunlight very much and needs sufficient light during its growth period. If the plant lacks light for a long time, it will easily grow tall and fade, reducing its ornamental value.

5. Prevent and control pests and diseases

Huangli is more susceptible to scale scale and sooty mold, especially in May and June each year, which is the peak period, so it is necessary to avoid the plant from being exposed to rain for a long time and maintain a good ventilation environment.

Huang Li Maintenance Precautions

If the Huangli grows crooked, the head will naturally bend down, seriously affecting its ornamental value. At this time, you can cut off the leaves below. Note that you need to be gentle when picking the leaves, so that more side branches can grow and form beautiful cliff piles.
