Cultivation methods and precautions of Xiaopan Bodhi

Xiao Pan Bodhi is very easy to maintain because this plant has strong disease resistance and generally rarely suffers from diseases and pests. There is no need to worry about the problem of low light in most indoor places. Xiao Pan Bodhi likes light and tolerates partial shade. It can grow in full light or half day, but in fact it is also very drought-resistant. It is better to keep the soil slightly moist during normal maintenance according to the situation.

How to grow small bodhi

When caring for a small Bodhi potted plant, plant it in loose and fertile soil, provide it with sufficient sunlight, and provide appropriate shade protection in summer. Water it thoroughly each time to avoid water accumulation and root rot. Control the temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius. In winter, the small Bodhi needs to be moved indoors for maintenance.

1. Pot soil selection:

Choose a breathable soil pot and change the pot for Pan Bodhi frequently to effectively meet its growth space. Fill it with loose and fertile soil to ensure the air permeability of the soil. You can add mud, sand and stones, plant the small Pan Bodhi in the soil, and turn the soil frequently to effectively promote root absorption.

2. Lighting:

Xiao Pan Bodhi likes sunlight. Adequate light can promote its continuous growth. Keep Xiao Pan Bodhi in a ventilated and bright place and provide more than 6 hours of sunlight a day. The light is strong in summer, so Xiao Pan Bodhi needs appropriate shade protection to avoid sunburn of the leaves caused by strong light.

3. Watering:

Xiaopan Bodhi likes a humid environment. Adequate water supplementation can make its leaves grow greener. When the temperature rises in summer, you can water it once a day to ensure that the soil is moist. Each time you water it, you must water it thoroughly to avoid water accumulation and root rot. In the rainy season, do a good job of soil drainage.

4. Temperature:

The suitable growth temperature of Xiaopan Bodhi is between 20 and 30℃. The suitable temperature can promote the continuous growth of Xiaopan Bodhi. In summer, the temperature rises and the environment is dry, so it is necessary to sprinkle water in the air and on the surface of the leaves to cool down and moisturize. In winter, the temperature drops, so Xiaopan Bodhi needs to be moved indoors for maintenance.

Precautions for the maintenance of Xiaopan Bodhi

When caring for Xiaopan Bodhi, you should pay attention to the fact that although it can withstand short-term low temperature environment, if the temperature is below 10 degrees for a long time, its growth will be hindered to a certain extent, becoming slow or even stagnant. When caring for it in winter, you can appropriately increase the light to promote photosynthesis of the plant and keep the leaf color bright for a long time.
