How many days does coriander grow?

Coriander will generally grow out of the soil on the 7th day after sowing, but due to the different planting times and climatic environments of coriander, the specific emergence time is also different.

Coriander growing season

The growing period of coriander is relatively short, which is 30-60 days. If it is planted in a greenhouse, it will grow and mature in 30 days. If it is planted normally in the open air, it will take 60 days. Coriander can be planted all year round, and it is more suitable to be planted in spring and autumn. Spring is planted in March and April, and autumn is planted in September. Coriander can be harvested 40 days after planting.

Coriander Growing Conditions

Coriander is suitable for growing in warm and humid places. The suitable growth temperature is 17-20 degrees. If it exceeds 20 degrees, the growth rate of coriander will slow down. It can tolerate a minimum temperature of minus 1 degree. Coriander has relatively low requirements for soil and is suitable for growing in loose and fertile soil.

Coriander growth management

During the growing period of coriander, if it is planted outdoors, avoid watering during the seedling stage. Watering during the winter should be done when the seedlings grow to about 10 cm. If it is planted in a greenhouse, water it once with frozen water before winter. This can help the seedlings survive the winter better. After it emerges, pay attention to thinning it out in time. Generally, thinning is done at a distance of about 3 cm between plants.
