How to grow passion fruit in pots

Passion fruit can be planted all year round in areas with suitable climate. The best time to plant passion fruit is April-May in spring and September-October in autumn. It is recommended to choose healthy fruit seedlings without diseases and pests for planting.

After passion fruit is planted, it will bear fruit quickly. Usually, it will bloom about 70-90 days after planting, and then continue to cultivate for 60 days, the fruit will be almost mature. If passion fruit is planted by cuttings in February and March, it will bear fruit in May and June.

How to grow passion fruit

When planting passion fruit, you can use seeds. The method of seed planting is, first, take out the passion fruit seeds from the passion fruit, wash them clean, and then dry them. Before sowing, the passion fruit seeds need to be soaked in water for a day. When the seeds appear white, put them in the soil and cover them with a layer. You can also use passion fruit seedlings to plant. First, dig a large hole with a depth of 20 cm, and then plant the passion fruit seedlings in it. It should be noted that the flower pots used for potted cultivation should not be too small. Generally, the diameter of the pot should be about 40-60 cm.
