Advantages and disadvantages of Tianhe rose

Advantages and disadvantages of Tianhe rose

Although Tianhe is a rose, it does not look like a rose. Just like its name, it looks more like a lotus. Its flower shape is very similar to that of a water lily. The petals are neatly arranged and very delicate. It is pink when it first blooms, and slowly turns into pink and white, a clean color. The edges of the petals are pointed, which is very beautiful. It has a high ornamental value and is deeply loved by people.

Advantages of Tianhe Rose

The Tianhe rose has more flowers, which usually bloom in clusters. There is a bunch of flowers on one branch. It is easy to "burst the pot" like a wild flower, and it blooms very quickly, with a flowering period of about 28 days. It blooms all year round and has strong disease resistance, so this variety is very easy to maintain.

Disadvantages of Tianhe Rose

There are not many shortcomings of Tianhe rose, but the most obvious one is that it does not have any special fragrance, and many people generally choose rose varieties with strong fragrance. On the other hand, many people think that the flowers are too small, with a diameter of only about two or three centimeters, which is not easy for everyone to accept.

Key points for Tianhe maintenance

If you want the Tianhe rose to bloom more, you can apply water-soluble fertilizer containing phosphorus about once every ten days. After each wave of flowers bloom, you should prune it in time to remove the dead flowers and blind branches to save nutrients. Be sure to expose it to more sunlight. At the same time, this variety has good cold and heat resistance, and can be planted in the south and the north.
