Cultivation methods and precautions of blue flower dan

The blue flowered dandelion is very easy to grow, and the survival rate of branch cuttings is also very high. A mother tree can produce many seedlings in a year. It is particularly heat-resistant and will bloom as usual without fear of the scorching summer heat.

How to cultivate blue flower

1. Soil

For the cultivation of blue flower dandelion, you need to choose loose, breathable, well-drained and humus-rich soil. You can use leaf mold, garden soil, humus soil, peat soil, mix them in the ratio of 3:3:2:2, and add a small amount of base fertilizer to make it into culture soil, so that it can grow better.

2. Lighting

The blue flower plant likes light, can tolerate shade, and should avoid direct sunlight. When the light is good, it can be placed outdoors to receive 4-5 hours of light in the morning or afternoon, but avoid high temperatures that will cause the new buds to germinate prematurely.

3. Temperature

Blue Flower Dan is a tropical mountain plant. It likes a warm environment and is not resistant to cold and high temperature and dryness. The most suitable growth temperature is 22-35℃. When the temperature is higher than 35℃, you can spray water on the plant and the surrounding environment to cool it down. When the temperature is lower than 6℃, place it in a warm place indoors to avoid frostbite from low temperature.

4. Pruning

Many people's potted blue snow flowers bloom less and less, in fact, they are reluctant to prune. You should know that the flowers of blue snow flowers bloom on new branches.

If you want to propagate blue snow flowers later, just prune them after they bloom, and the cut branches can be used for cuttings.

Each branch is about 9 cm long. The leaves at the bottom of the branch should be removed. Prepare some peat soil, perlite and vermiculite, mix them in a ratio of 1:1:1, and water the soil to make it moist.

Then, we can insert the branches, cover them with transparent plastic wrap, maintain a warm environment in the later stage, and ensure that the environment is ventilated and light-permeable. These branches will slowly grow roots after a week.

Blue Flower Dan Maintenance Precautions

When caring for the blue flower dandelion, pay attention to pruning weak branches, broken branches and dead branches and leaves in spring every year. After the flowers bloom, cut off the dead flowers and underdeveloped flower buds. Also, if you find broken branches and dead leaves on the plant, you must prune them to ensure good ventilation of the branches and reduce the risk of diseases and pests.
