How to make asparagus fern bloom

How to make asparagus fern bloom

1. Division

1. First of all, we need to choose a relatively strong plant, which needs three to five years. The time should be determined in spring, which is more suitable for division.

2. Then we pour it out of the basin and break it apart with our hands. If conditions permit, you can disinfect it with carbendazim. This way, bacteria will not disturb it and it will grow better.

3. After that, we need to put some nutrient soil, perlite and sand in the pot, or pad it with coal slag and tiles, so that its drainage function will be better and it will grow better.

4. Then water it thoroughly. If you grow it in this way, it will bloom out of the pot in minutes.

2. No division

If we don't divide it, how can we make it bloom out of the pot? There are several things to pay attention to.

1. Pruning

I believe everyone knows that pruning is a way to make it grow better. We should usually pay attention to its growth status, cut off its old branches, and cut off its tail in time, so that it can grow taller and more numerous.

2. Soil

If you want it to bloom out of the pot, the soil is also one of the key points. It needs to use softer and slightly acidic soil, which is better for its growth and makes it easier to bloom out of the pot. The soil with this characteristic includes leaf mold, pine needles and peat.

3. Watering

I have to pay attention to watering it normally, because it will grow faster with water, but we can't spray too much water at once, so we can spray water on the leaves, and spray less in winter.

4. Light

It prefers diffuse light, and the light cannot be too strong, so we have to put it in a more secluded place, or let it receive diffuse light. Of course, letting it ventilate will be more helpful for it to bloom.
