Cultivation methods and precautions of golden Buddha's hand

Golden Buddha's Hand is an evergreen plant of the Rutaceae citrus family. It grows in subtropical regions and is relatively easy to maintain. It is not only highly ornamental, but also has very high medicinal value and is deeply loved by people.

How to cultivate golden Buddha's hand

1. Soil environment

For growing golden bergamot, choose loose, air-permeable, slightly acidic soil. The cultivation medium can be sandy soil, which is conducive to drainage and nutrient supplementation. If you prepare it yourself, you can take rotten leaves, fine sand, and garden soil and mix them in a ratio of 1:1:2. Use a medium-sized flowerpot.

2. Reasonable fertilization

Golden Buddha's Hand does not require too much fertilizer during the cultivation process. It only needs to apply thin fertilizer every ten days in summer and autumn. If too much fertilizer is applied, the salt content in the soil will be higher, which is not conducive to the growth of Buddha's Hand.

3. Water supply

Golden Buddha's Hand is a drought-resistant plant. Adding too much water will cause root rot. It is usually more reasonable to wait until the leaves of Golden Buddha's Hand wilt before watering. Generally speaking, water it every 3-5 days. Pay attention to adding more water in summer, reduce watering appropriately in winter, and strictly control the amount of watering.

Precautions for the maintenance of golden Buddha's hand

Golden Buddha's Hand likes light, but avoid exposure to strong sunlight. If the temperature is higher than 32 degrees Celsius, the Buddha's Hand will enter a dormant state. When the light is not strong, it can be placed in a sunny place to receive scattered light. In winter, the breeding temperature must be kept above 5 degrees Celsius so that the Golden Buddha's Hand can safely survive the winter.

Golden Buddha's hand is prone to diseases during potted cultivation, but you can prevent them in advance. Spray the golden Buddha's hand with carbendazim solution once a week during the growth period to kill the bacteria on the plant. You can also water the soil with thiophanate-methyl solution once a month to effectively kill the bacteria in the soil.
