1. Is light indispensable?

2. Treatment in different seasons

Mainly talk about winter and summer. The temperature is very low in winter, so it should be exposed to as much light as possible so that it can survive the winter safely. However, the light in summer is too strong, but there cannot be no light. Therefore, it is generally chosen to receive sunlight before 7 o'clock in the morning. The light at this time will be very soft and will not burn the leaves. After seven o'clock, a shading degree of about 50% to 90% is sufficient. In spring and fall, diffuse light is sufficient.

3. Requirements for different varieties

The requirement for light depends not only on the season, but also on the variety. For example, Jianlan has a relatively high demand for light, so shading by 60 to 70 percent is enough. Spring orchids and cymbidium orchids are shaded by about 70 to 80 percent. Molan doesn't like light very much, and the light blocking degree is about 85%.
