Cultivation methods and precautions of mirror grass

Mirror grass is very easy to grow. It has an elegant and beautiful appearance and good meaning. The leaves of mirror grass are very shiny. If you place a pot of mirror grass at home, it will have a high ornamental value.

How to grow mirror grass

1. Temperature

Mirror grass likes a warm environment and the temperature should be controlled between 15-25 degrees Celsius. If the temperature is too high or too low, the leaves of the mirror grass will easily turn yellow.

2. Lighting

Mirror grass cannot accept direct sunlight. The plant can be placed in a place with scattered light. Adequate scattered light can make the leaves of the plant shiny green.

3. Watering

Mirror grass likes a humid environment. When the pot soil is dry, water it in time, and spray water mist on the leaves of the plant frequently to keep the environment moist.

The method of fertilizing mirror grass is to apply small amounts multiple times, and the addition of fertilizer should be adjusted according to temperature changes. When the growth temperature is too high or too low, stop fertilizing in time.

Mirror grass maintenance precautions

When caring for mirror grass, you should pay attention to choosing loose, fertile, well-drained, humus-rich sandy loam. You can use leaf mold and garden soil mixed with a small amount of river sand, furnace ash, and bone meal to make the culture soil.
