Cultivation methods and precautions of succulent Oplina

The succulent plant Oplina is very easy to grow. Oplina is also known as fat beauty. Its leaves are very thick and easy to grow in groups. There is a layer of white powder covering the leaves of Oplina, which has a relatively high ornamental value.

How to grow succulent Oplina

1. Soil

The succulent plant Oplina has low nutritional requirements for the planting soil, but has high requirements for the air permeability and drainage of the soil, because soil with good air permeability and drainage is not easy to accumulate water, and is not easy to cause root rot of the plant.

2. Lighting

Oplina has a high demand for light. If there is insufficient light, it will be difficult to grow normally. Adequate light can make Oplina's plant shape more compact, the leaves thicker, and easier to color.

4. Watering

During the daily maintenance of Oplina, moderate water control is required. Watering should not be too frequent. Do not water it unless the soil in the pot is completely dry.

4. Fertilization

The succulent plant Oplina has a low demand for nutrients. Generally, top dressing twice a year is enough to meet its normal and healthy growth. Fertilization is generally done with multi-element compound fertilizer, preferably slow-release granular fertilizer.

Precautions for the maintenance of succulent Oplina

When caring for Oplina, please note that there is a layer of white powder covering the surface of the leaves. Do not touch the leaves with your hands, and when watering, do not pour water on the leaves. It is best to shelter from the rain on rainy days to prevent the white powder from being washed away.
