Cultivation methods and precautions of hydroponic pink palm

Hydroponic Anthurium is a relatively easy plant to grow. It is a common ornamental potted plant in the office. It is not difficult to grow. Just pay attention to the control of light, temperature, medium, etc. Remember to observe the condition of the plant every once in a while so that any problems can be discovered in time.

How to cultivate hydroponic palm

1. Soil

Hydroponic pink cactus also requires some soil in the water. You should choose nutrient-rich soil. You can mix peat soil and leaf mold in a ratio of 2:1. You can first put the soil in the sun for 1 day to disinfect it, which can kill the bacteria in it.

2. Temperature

The most suitable temperature for the growth of hydroponic pink palm is about 15-25 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is high in summer, shade and cool down should be provided in time. In winter, the plants should be kept in a warm indoor place, but be careful to keep them away from radiators, air conditioners and other equipment.

3. Lighting

Hydroponic Anthuriums prefer diffuse light and do not like direct light. We can usually place the plants in a place with sufficient diffuse light for maintenance, otherwise the leaves of the Anthurium will turn yellow and curl, and if there is insufficient light, it will be difficult for the Anthurium to bloom.

Precautions for the maintenance of hydroponic pink palm

1. Humidity

The most suitable growth humidity for hydroponic Anthurium is 70~80%. It should be noted that the temperature cannot be lower than 50% for a long time. Therefore, water should be sprayed on the leaves frequently to increase the humidity. This is especially important in the dry winter. If the humidity is too low, the plant will become rough, affecting its appearance.

2. Fertilizer

Phosphorus and potassium fertilizers are suitable for hydroponic Anthuriums, but it is best to stop using fertilizers during the high temperature period of midsummer. At other times, it is sufficient to apply fertilizer every 10 days or so, which is conducive to growth and flowering.
