How much money can a 4-acre strawberry greenhouse earn in a year (profit from growing strawberries in rural areas per acre)

How much money can a 4-acre strawberry greenhouse earn in a year?

There are many areas in my country suitable for growing strawberries, but the ones that are familiar to everyone are the ones with the largest planting areas. As we all know, no matter what project you plant now, you must not plant blindly, you must investigate carefully and understand the market demand.

① Cost of investment

Only after the strawberry planting is successful can you start calculating the profit.

(1) Seedling cost

There are two ways to grow strawberries: greenhouse and greenhouse. Taking greenhouse planting as an example, one acre of land can grow about 8,000 strawberries. The current cost of strawberry seedlings is about 0.4 yuan per strawberry, so the cost of one acre of seedlings is about 3,000 yuan.

(2) Land rent input

Land rent is also indispensable in strawberry cultivation. Generally, the rent for one acre of land is about 700 yuan.

(3) Fertilizers and pesticides

Strawberries have a high demand for nutrients, so the fertilizer cost is relatively high during planting. In addition, strawberries have a weak disease resistance, so the investment in pesticides is also high, and in total, it costs about 1,000 yuan per mu.

(4) Greenhouse construction costs

The construction cost of a greenhouse is relatively high. For an ordinary steel pipe greenhouse, it requires various costs such as steel pipes, greenhouse film, etc. The total cost of the entire greenhouse is about 6,000 yuan.

(5) Labor and Miscellaneous Expenses

Calculated at 2,000 yuan per mu, plus 500 yuan per mu for miscellaneous expenses such as plastic film and drip irrigation, the total cost is 2,500 yuan.

Therefore, based on the above analysis of labor, fertilizer, seedlings and other planting inputs, the planting cost of one acre of strawberries is about 13,000 to 15,000 yuan.

② Profit

The average yield of strawberries per mu is 4 to 5 thousand kilograms, and the highest yield is 6 thousand kilograms. The normal price is 7 to 15 yuan per kilogram. It fluctuates with the season. Special varieties are 15 to 30 yuan per kilogram. The output value is basically 30,000 to 40,000 yuan.

One acre of strawberry land can generally earn 15,000-20,000 yuan. If it is 4 acres, it can earn at least 60,000 yuan . (Under normal market conditions and production conditions)

What factors are related to the income of one acre of strawberries?

1. Related to the yield and price of strawberries

When strawberries are ripe, they can be picked every two or three days. The yield per acre of strawberries in one season depends on the variety. Some are relatively high, up to 3 tons, and the average is around 1.5 tons.

Greenhouse cultivation, such as the most common variety of Zhangji, has an annual yield of about 1,800 kg per mu, and the yield of Sweet Charlie can reach 4,000 kg. Generally, it costs 10-15 yuan per catty, and the annual gross income can reach 30,000-50,000 yuan, and the investment cost can be recovered in one year.

2. It’s related to geographical location

If the geographical location is good, transportation is convenient, the planting is on a large scale and publicity is in place, tourists can be allowed to enter the park to pick the fruits. Each person entering the park has to pay an entrance fee, and there is a separate charge for picking the fruits and taking them away. The income from this will be considerable, and some can reach 60,000 or 70,000 yuan.

3. Related to input (greenhouse or open field cultivation)

Greenhouses require large investments and have high yields. The strawberries are highly commercially viable and have beautiful appearances. Open-field cultivation requires low investments but has lower yields.

I took the children to pick strawberries in our local area before. Due to the epidemic, we did not go to the greenhouse park to pick them, but went to the open field to pick them. The variety we picked was cream strawberries, which tasted very good, fragrant and sweet, and the children liked it very much.
