Make the garden soil loose and nutritious (how to turn ordinary soil into fertile soil)

Whether the soil is fertile can affect the growth of crops, so all farmers hope that the soil where they grow crops can be nutritious and fertile. So what methods can be used to improve the soil during the planting process?

Deep tillage of the soil

The most basic way to improve soil is deep plowing. Now with the development of science and technology, many fertilization methods do not require deep plowing. Direct flushing, drip irrigation, and spraying can all achieve good results.

However, if the soil is not deeply plowed for a long time, there will definitely be bacteria, insect eggs, etc. in the deep soil. Deep plowing can not only reduce the presence of bacteria and insect eggs, but also make the soil looser and more suitable for crop growth.

Increase organic matter

A large part of the nutrients in the soil comes from organic matter, so when the soil fertility is insufficient, directly applying chemical fertilizers will not be effective. Applying organic fertilizers is one of the most effective ways to improve the soil.

Farmers can choose to decompose their own farm manure or use ready-made organic fertilizer. No matter which kind of organic fertilizer it is, it must be applied scientifically and reasonably according to soil conditions, especially to avoid fertilizer damage caused by uncomposted organic fertilizer.

Use of microbial agents

In addition to adding organic matter, microbial agents are also an essential fertilizer for improving soil.

Its main ingredient is beneficial bacteria, which can regulate soil activity, inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the soil, reduce the occurrence of soil-borne diseases, enhance crop absorption of fertilizers, and make the soil healthier.

Fertilize according to soil

When applying fertilizer, we should pay attention to "adapting to local conditions". First, we should understand what elements are lacking in the soil, and then apply these fertilizers purposefully. This can not only improve the absorption rate of fertilizers, but also play a role in regulating the soil.

When using chemical fertilizers, it is best to use water-soluble fertilizers with strong water solubility, which will not produce residues and will not damage the soil.

Proper crop rotation

Long-term continuous sitting will also cause certain damage to the soil. Farmers should rotate crops according to the situation, otherwise the soil may become compacted and salinized.
