Environmental humidity is very important for the growth of osmanthus trees. The air humidity is required to be around 75%-85%. The plant has high requirements for water and needs to be watered every 3-4 days.

Osmanthus trees like to grow in deep, fertile, breathable and well-drained soil. The pH value should be between 5.5-6.5. It can be prepared with leaf mold, garden soil and river sand.

The peak growing season for osmanthus trees is in spring and summer. The plant is in the seedling stage from sowing to the growth of new buds.
