Xiamen University’s opening ceremony uses mineral water instead of water for new students!

At present, all universities, colleges, primary and secondary schools, and secondary vocational schools in Xiamen have adjusted from offline teaching to online teaching, kindergartens have suspended admission, and citizens are advised not to leave Xiamen unless necessary.

Use mineral water instead of fresh water

Although the freshmen could not attend the opening ceremony in person, Xiamen University was very thoughtful. In order to let the freshmen feel the sense of admission ceremony, Xiamen University used mineral water to replace the freshmen at the opening ceremony. Thousands of bottles of mineral water were placed in the opening venue to replace the freshmen and witness their youth.
