How to grow hydroponic bamboo to make it more vigorous

How to grow hydroponic bamboo to make it more vigorous

Tap water can be used for hydroponic bamboo, because tap water contains more trace elements, which can meet the growth needs of hydroponic bamboo. However, tap water must be dried before it can be used.

Although hydroponic bamboo does not like light, it needs 2-3 hours of light every day, and the water needs to be changed 1-2 times a week. Fertilizers should be applied regularly. In addition, if pests and diseases are found, you can spray it with a solution of Benomyl.

Key points for hydroponic bamboo cultivation

1. Lighting

Hydroponic bamboo is suitable for growing in an environment with scattered light. Excessive light will burn the leaves, so it should be maintained in a place with sufficient scattered light. Do not expose it to the sun at noon, and shade is needed in summer.

2. Water and fertilizer

Hydroponic bamboo needs to have its water changed frequently, because changing the water can replenish nutrients to the hydroponic bamboo in time. Generally, the water should be changed once every 7 days. Hydroponic bamboo has a small demand for fertilizer, and it should be fertilized once every 1-2 months. When fertilizing, just drop the nutrient solution into the water.

Precautions for hydroponic bamboo cultivation

Hydroponic bamboo should be placed in the correct location and pay attention to ventilation. This can effectively prevent the growth of bacteria. Be careful not to place it near heating equipment and fans, otherwise the leaves of the hydroponic bamboo will turn yellow and dry.

If hydroponic bamboo is soaked in water for a long time, its roots may rot, which will affect its growth and cause death. Therefore, it is necessary to trim the roots in time and cut off the rotten roots.
