The best time to plant coriander

The planting time of coriander is relatively wide. It can be planted in the other three seasons except winter. Of course, the warm climate is very helpful for its growth. It is mainly concentrated in spring and autumn, usually between March and April or between September and October each year.

Coriander planting methods and key points

Step 1 : Before planting coriander, select healthy and plump seeds, rub off the skin on the seeds, and soak them in clean water for about 24 hours to encourage the seeds to absorb enough water, thereby increasing the germination rate and survival rate of coriander.

Step 2 : After processing the coriander seeds, wrap them with a wet paper towel and place them in an environment with sufficient light and good ventilation. Water them every 2 days. Generally, after waiting for 7-10 days, the seeds will be able to germinate.

Step 3. When coriander grows tender sprouts, take out the seeds first and then sow them into soft and fertile sandy soil. You can cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil about 2 cm thick, and then cover them with a breathable film.

Key points for daily management of coriander

Most coriander varieties are not heat-resistant. Its growth temperature is between 15-20℃. When the temperature exceeds 30℃, its growth will become slow, so if it is planted in the hot summer, it is best to choose a more heat-resistant variety.
