Is growing grapefruit profitable?

Pomelo is a common fruit with a very long history of cultivation in my country. It has high therapeutic and edible value. It can also be processed into pomelo candy, pomelo juice, pomelo tea, etc., and can also be used as medicine, so the current planting prospects are very good.

Profits and Benefits of Pomelo Planting

The benefits of pomelo cultivation are generally not fixed, and its profits will be affected by many factors such as output and cost. If calculated based on the market price of 2 yuan per catty, after deducting the cost, the net profit per mu of land is about 7,500-10,000 yuan.

High-yield cultivation techniques of grapefruit

1. Site selection

If you want to achieve high yields of grapefruit, it is best to choose to plant it in an area with deep, loose and fertile soil, convenient drainage and irrigation, and no pollution. If it is a mountainous area, it is recommended that the slope be less than 20°.

2. Land preparation

Before planting pomelo, the land needs to be prepared and ridges need to be made. The recommended tillage depth should be between 50-90 cm, and an appropriate amount of decomposed organic fertilizer should be applied. This will be more conducive to the later growth of pomelo.

3. Planting

Pomelo is usually planted by hole sowing, usually about 420-500 plants are planted per acre, and the density should not be too high.
