Is lemon cultivation profitable? Prospects and profits

Is growing lemons profitable?

Lemon is quite common in daily life and is a fruit with high economic value. Not only can it be eaten directly, but its processed by-products are also deeply loved by consumers. However, only by continuously improving the quality of the fruit can it develop in the long run in the market.

Profits and benefits of growing lemons

Under normal circumstances, it costs about 3,500 yuan to plant one acre of lemons. Calculated based on the market price of 8 yuan per catty, after deducting the cost, the net profit per acre is about 1,000-5,000 yuan, which is a relatively profitable planting industry.

Lemon high-yield cultivation techniques

1. Sowing and seedling raising

Soak the lemon seeds in clean water for about 6 days. After they have fully absorbed water, place them in an environment of 20℃ for germination. The seeds will germinate in about 7 days.

2. Soil selection and land preparation

Lemon prefers a warm and humid growing environment and is not drought-resistant, so if you want to get high yields, it is best to plant it in loose, fertile, well-drained soil.

3. Planting

When the lemon seedlings grow to 60 cm, they can be transplanted and planted. Take care to protect the roots of the plants and avoid them from excessive exposure to the sun.
