What to do if the leaves of the green radish turn yellow

What to do if the leaves of the green radish turn yellow

1. Cut off the yellow leaves

If you find that its leaves are turning yellow, you need to cut off the yellow leaves first. This can reduce nutrient consumption and improve the appearance. Leaving the yellow leaves on will only cause bad effects. If the yellowing area is small, you can just cut off that area. If the yellowing area is large, you can remove the entire leaf.

2. Prune rotten roots

If the leaves turn yellow, it is likely that there is a problem with the roots. If the roots rot, it will affect the growth of the entire plant. You can cut off the rotten roots, wash them in clean water, and then replant them in new potting soil.

3. Change the maintenance method

When this happens, it basically means there is a problem with maintenance, and the cause needs to be found out and adjustments made.

1. Proper light: When the light is too strong, the sunlight will burn the leaves and cause them to turn yellow. If there is a lack of sunlight for a long time, the plant will find it difficult to come into contact with the sunlight, resulting in problems with its growth and the leaves will turn yellow. Therefore, it is necessary to provide appropriate sunlight and daily exposure to scattered light will be sufficient.

2. Water appropriately: Too much water will cause root rot, and too little water will cause drought. Water needs to be supplemented according to the growth conditions.

3. Normal fertilization: Too much fertilizer will cause excess nutrients, resulting in root burns. If too little fertilizer is applied, the nutrients will be difficult to keep up, and there will be problems with plant growth. Fertilize according to the growth, but not excessively.
