1. Choose good varieties

2. Land preparation and fertilization

Shanghai rapeseed has a wide adaptability to soil, but it is best to plant it in a place with sufficient water and convenient irrigation and drainage. It should not be planted in heavy clay soil, otherwise it will cause various diseases. When preparing the land, deep plowing should be done, sufficient livestock manure should be sprinkled, and then ridges about 1.5-2 meters wide should be made, and then dig ditches.

3. Scientific sowing

Shanghai rapeseed can be sown by broadcasting or row sowing. Moisten the soil in advance and then spread the seeds evenly on the land, or dig furrows at a distance of 30 cm between each row, spread the seeds evenly in the furrows, and cover them with soil. When the temperature is not very high, you can cover it with a layer of grass or plastic film to retain moisture and keep warm.
