How to raise Milan

How to raise Milan

1. Breeding environment

1. Temperature: Milan likes a warm environment. When the temperature is controlled at 30℃, it will grow faster and better. Warmth measures should be taken in winter when the temperature is low.

2. Watering: Milan will grow better in moist soil. If there is not enough water, yellow leaves will appear. In summer, you can water it once a day and spray some water on the leaves or around it.

3. Light: Milan likes sunlight. Try to give it about 8 hours of light a day. It is best to grow it in a sunny and ventilated environment.

4. Fertilization: Milan has a great demand for nutrients. If the nutrients are insufficient, it will affect its flowering. In order to make it bloom more, the fertilizer applied in spring and summer should be mainly thin liquid fertilizer containing nitrogen and phosphorus.

2. Breeding Methods

Propagation by cuttings: Choose strong branches, cut them into about 10 cm long, remove the lower leaves, leaving 2-3 leaves on the top, insert them into the prepared flowerpot, then water them thoroughly, cover them with a film, keep them moist, and they will take root in about 2 months.

3. Common pests and diseases

1. Anthracnose: Pay attention to ventilation and moisture removal, and clean up diseased leaves and branches in time to reduce pathogens. Reasonable application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers can make it grow better and improve its disease resistance.

2. Scale insects: They can cause the leaves to turn yellow or even die. Remove the insects in time or trim the insect branches to avoid infection.
