1. Choose soil: Orange trees have good adaptability, but the most suitable soil for them is slightly acidic soil. You can choose to plant them in deep, loose and fertile soil. Before planting, the soil needs to be deeply turned over and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied.

2. Tree pruning: Orange trees need to be properly pruned before planting. Some branches and leaves that affect growth need to be cut off, and the branches and leaves need to be thinned out to reduce water evaporation. The roots also need to be pruned, and some rotten roots need to be cut off.

3. Planting: Plant the orange tree in the dug hole, allow its roots to fully expand, then fill it with soil and compact it, then water it enough so that it can take root.
