Golden bell planting time and method

Golden bell planting time

Golden bells are generally planted around February to April. Because they prefer a warm growing environment, they need to be planted after the temperature stabilizes in spring. However, it also depends on the local climate. The southern region is warmer, so it is planted in February and March, while in the north it is recommended to be planted around April.

Golden bell planting method

1. Land preparation and fertilization: Golden bells generally grow in loose, fertile and well-drained soil. After selecting the soil, the land needs to be deeply plowed and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied to ensure sufficient fertility.

2. Seed germination: Before sowing the seeds of the golden bell, you need to soak them in warm water. After they absorb enough water, put them in a wet cloth and place them in a warm environment for germination. After the seeds turn white, they can be sown.

3. Sowing: After processing the seeds, you can start sowing. You can use a scattering method to evenly spread the seeds in the soil, cover them with a thin layer of soil, and then keep the soil slightly moist.

Precautions for planting golden bells

1. After sowing, it will take about 1-2 weeks for the golden bell to germinate. When the seedlings grow to 15 cm, they need to be thinned out or transplanted appropriately to provide them with a good growth environment.

2. You need to pay attention to the golden bell during its growth period. It has a relatively large demand for fertilizer at this time, so you need to fertilize it in time, but you need to use thin fertilizer.
