When and how to plant beans

When and how to plant beans

Planting time for beans

Green beans are usually planted in late February in spring and can be transplanted in March. They are relatively resistant to high temperatures, so they are more suitable for growing in an environment of 25-35 degrees. They are not resistant to low temperatures. If the temperature is too low, it will stop developing and cause leaves and flowers to fall.

How to plant beans on a trellis

1. Seed selection

To grow beans on the rack, you need suitable seeds. You need to select high-quality, plump, and disease-free seeds, then place them in the sun for 1-2 days, and then soak them in warm water for 24 hours to promote rooting and germination.

2. Water and fertilizer management

After processing the bean seeds, you can sow them. After a period of time, you need to fertilize them according to their growth status. If their branches and leaves grow vigorously, you need to reduce the number of fertilizations appropriately. Just keep the soil moist at normal times.

3. Pest control

When beans are growing, they are often attacked by insect pests. Therefore, if you find that the leaves of the plant are turning yellow and there are signs of bites, you need to carry out manual pest control in time to avoid affecting the growth and development of the plant.

Things to note when planting beans on a trellis

1. When caring for beans on the trellis, there must be sufficient sunlight, which is extremely important for its growth. If it is kept in a cool environment for a long time, it will lead to poor growth.

2. Beans on the rack are sensitive to temperature, so during the maintenance period, there must be a relatively warm growing environment, and low temperatures must be avoided, which is more beneficial to its growth.
