Where do water chestnuts like to grow?

Water chestnuts are produced in many places in my country and are grown in various places across the country. They are a specialty product of Lingui, Yangshuo, Lingchuan and Xing'an.

Water chestnut prefers a warm and humid environment. It cannot withstand frost and is suitable for growing in shallow water. In the early stage of growth, it needs high temperature and long-term sunshine environment, which is conducive to its growth and development.

1. Watering: Water chestnuts cannot lack water during the entire growth period, especially when they are growing fastest. They should be watered regularly to maintain adequate growth conditions.

2. Fertilization: Water chestnuts require sufficient nitrogen fertilizer during their growth stage, and must not be lacking in fertilizer, so as to ensure that they can grow and develop. In addition to applying base fertilizer, it is also necessary to add potassium fertilizer during the growth period of water chestnuts. At the same time, sufficient potassium fertilizer can improve the disease resistance of the plant, and phosphorus fertilizer is also very beneficial to the growth and development of water chestnuts.
