Wheat growth habit

Wheat is a temperate long-day plant that likes sunlight and is suitable for growing in temperate regions. Wheat has a strong ability to adapt to the environment, so wheat is widely planted in my country. Wheat can be cultivated from plains to altitudes of 4,000 meters.

Where does wheat like to grow?

The origin of wheat is in western Asia. The main wheat producing areas in my country include Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shaanxi and other regions. Among them, Henan Province in my country is a province with relatively large wheat production, accounting for about a quarter of the country's total wheat production.

In addition, wheat generally prefers soil with a thick mature soil layer, good structure, rich organic matter, comprehensive nutrients, balanced nitrogen and phosphorus, strong water and fertilizer retention capacity, and good permeability. This can ensure that the wheat can be irrigated freely and achieve the goal of stable and high yields.

Wheat growing environment and conditions

1. Nutrients

Elements such as carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, calcium, magnesium, iron, boron, manganese, copper, and zinc are necessary nutrients for the growth and development of wheat. Nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium are also known as the "three elements" in the growth and development process of wheat.

2. Lighting

Light is an environmental condition necessary for the growth and development of wheat. Adequate light can promote the growth and development of wheat, ensure normal flowering, pollination and fruiting of wheat, and promote the filling and maturation of wheat.
