Can deciduous roots be hydroponically cultivated?

Deciduous rooting is a herbaceous plant of the genus Deciduous rooting of the Crassulaceae family. It can be grown in hydroponics. The survival rate of deciduous rooting in hydroponics is not high, and it is more difficult to maintain than in soil culture. Soil culture is more suitable for deciduous rooting.

Methods and key points of hydroponic cultivation of deciduous rooting plants

1. Choose branches:

Choose a healthy deciduous plant, trim its roots and excess leaves, rinse off excess soil from the roots with water and set aside to dry.

2. Selection of container:

Generally, transparent glass containers are chosen to ensure that the fallen leaves can receive appropriate light during the rooting and growth process, so as to better obtain nutrients.

3. Control water addition:

Just add clean water to the container. The water should be enough to fill about one-third of the container and roughly one centimeter above the roots to prevent the rooting stems and leaves from being submerged.

Precautions for water-grown fallen leaves

1. Change water regularly:

When hydroponically cultivating fallen leaves and roots, you need to change the water regularly. Be careful not to change the water frequently. When changing the water, you can also add some nutrient solution appropriately to make the fallen leaves and roots grow more healthily.

2. Suitable lighting:

When the fallen leaves are taking root in hydroponics, they need regular exposure to light. In winter, they can be exposed to direct light, but in summer, they need to be shaded to prevent strong sunlight exposure.
