Hibiscus cultivation methods and precautions

Hibiscus cultivation methods and precautions

1. Flower soil

Hibiscus is highly adaptable to flower soil, and there will be no problem growing it as long as the soil is not too sticky. However, it is best to use slightly acidic soil with good air permeability for breeding. Because this is more conducive to the growth of its roots.

2. Lighting

It has a high demand for light. It should be placed in a well-lit area and given at least 8 hours of sunlight every day. Because if it does not receive enough light, it may have problems such as few flowers, light colors, and small sizes, which will seriously affect its viewing experience.

3. Temperature

Maintaining a suitable temperature can increase the rate at which it accumulates nutrients, allowing it to grow faster. Specifically, it can be cultivated in an environment of 15-25℃. When the weather is cold, the temperature needs to be kept above 13℃.

4. Watering

When growing it, you can water it once a day. However, it is best not to water it at noon, but in the morning or evening. In addition, if the weather is hot, you need to increase the frequency of watering to twice a day.

5. Notes

When it grows more vigorously, its branches need to be shortened appropriately and shaped. After pruning, you need to temporarily control the water for a period of time, and then resume normal watering.
