Can milk be used to water money trees? The correct way to water money trees with milk

Pouring milk on money tree

Milk can be used to water the money tree. It is the most nutritious fertilizer. However, you cannot use fresh milk, otherwise it will easily cause the plant's roots to burn and its leaves to turn yellow. The milk must be fully fermented and decomposed before being diluted with water for watering. Add more water and less milk. Also, you cannot water the money tree during its dormant period.

The correct way to water a money tree with milk

1. Container selection

First, find a container with a lid to seal and ferment the milk. Then pour the milk into it and add some water and fruit peels.

2. Fermentation

After the operation, put the lid on, but don't tighten it too tightly. Place it in a place with sufficient light to allow the milk to ferment more completely. Generally, the fermentation will be completed in about a week.

3. Dilute and water the flowers

After the milk is fermented, you need to add some clean water to dilute it and prepare it in a ratio of 1:5 so that it can be used to water the money tree.

What to do if you pour too much milk

If you water the money tree with unfermented milk, you need to remove the plant from the soil in time, then rinse the roots of the money tree, and wait for it to dry naturally before re-potting it. Later, you need to switch to natural water or professional flower fertilizer for watering.
