Will hyacinth bloom again after it fades?

Will hyacinth bloom again after it fades?

1. Will it reopen?

It blooms between March and April in spring, only once a year, and will not bloom again after withering. After the flowering season ends every year, summer gradually arrives. The temperature rises, the flowers will wither, and the plant will enter a dormant state and will not bloom again that year. However, if it is handled properly after flowering, it will continue to grow and bloom in the second year.

2. What to do after the flowers fade

After the flowers fade, the dead branches and leaves of the plant should be cut off, and the root system should be pruned, and rotten and old roots should also be cut off. Then replace the water with new one, increase ventilation, and maintain it normally. Alternatively, you can clean the bulbs, disinfect them, and store them after drying them in a low-temperature environment to prevent them from rotting. You can then take them out in autumn and replant them.

3. Notes

Its bulbs generally take two to three years to maintain, so they can only bloom for two to three years, and the flowers of one year are not as big as those of another. Because every time it blooms, the bulb degenerates a little, and after blooming many times it can no longer continue to bloom. It is recommended to maintain each bulb for one or two years. If you want the flowers to be beautiful, you can only replace the bulbs and maintain them again.
