Soybean growth cycleThe growth cycle of soybeans ranges from about 90 to 130 days. Due to different varieties of soybeans, the growth period of high-quality early-maturing soybean varieties is about 90 days, and there is another high-quality soybean variety with a growth period of about 120 days. The traditional soybean growth period is about 120 to 130 days. Soybean growth rateSoybeans grow very fast. They are usually planted around October in autumn and can be harvested in March or April of the following spring. Soybean Growth Cycle ManagementTemperature management: Soybeans like warmth. Seeds begin to germinate at 10-12℃, and are most suitable at 15-20℃. The optimum temperature for growth is 20-25℃, and the optimum temperature for flowering and podding is 20-28℃. Podding is delayed at low temperatures, and flowering cannot occur at temperatures below 14℃. If the temperature is too high, the plant will end its growth early. Seed germination requires more water, and the soil moisture content during flowering must be 70%-80%, otherwise the bud shedding rate will increase. Soybeans absorb less than 15% of the total fertilizer before flowering, while the flowering and podding period accounts for more than 80% of the total fertilizer absorption. Fertilization management: In general, fertilizers and seeds are separated and applied 4-5 cm below the seed side. The amount of chemical fertilizer can be adjusted. When more than 20 kg of diammonium phosphate is applied per 667 square meters, it can be applied in layers: the top layer of seed fertilizer is 5-7 cm deep, accounting for 1/3 of the fertilizer amount; the bottom fertilizer is 10-16 cm deep, accounting for 2/3 of the fertilizer amount. Or after the previous crop is harvested, the fermented organic fertilizer is evenly spread on the surface, and then the fertilizer is raked into the soil with a rake. After the manure and soil are fully mixed, deep plowing is carried out. After plowing, the rake bottle is used to harrow and ridges are formed. Soybeans can also be planted flat. |
