What to do if camellia leaves wilt

What to do if camellia leaves wilt

1. Moisture

(1) Specific reason: This flower has high requirements for water. It should neither be too dry nor too wet. If it is too dry, the first thing that will happen is that the roots will shrink and atrophy. The next sign may be wilting of the leaves.

(2) Solution: If discovered in time, the situation will not be too serious. If you replenish water in time, the situation will be alleviated. Another thing to note is that it is best to leave the water for a day or two before using it for watering.

2. Light

(1) Specific reason: This plant itself prefers a shady environment. If strong direct sunlight shines on its leaves or the exposure time is too long, the leaves may wither.

(2) Solution: As in the first case, if discovered in time, the consequences will not be serious. Provide shade in time and it will recover after a period of time.

3. Fertilizer

(1) Specific reasons: For most plants, too high a concentration is definitely not acceptable. Furthermore, if raw fertilizer is applied, it may also cause the leaves to dry up.

(2) Solution: Pay close attention to the fertilizer you apply. If the situation is very serious, it will be difficult for the plant to recover. Never apply fertilizer with too high concentration or raw fertilizer.

4. Pests and diseases

(1) Specific reasons: When attacked by pathogens or insects, the transport capacity of the branches will be weakened accordingly. If this continues, the leaves are likely to dry up.

(2) Solution: For this aspect, it is best to remove the diseased leaves first and then spray the corresponding pesticide.
