Does the leaf fairy need to be topped?

If you want to grow the leaf fairy thicker, you must top and pinch it in time after it grows to a certain height. Topping is to reduce excessive loss of nutrients from the root system, allow its roots and stems to grow better, and avoid excessive concentration of apical dominance of the leaf fairy, which will lead to even distribution of nutrients on its branches, making the roots and stems of the leaf fairy become thicker.

How high to top: Pinch off the top side branches of the plant when they grow to 15cm.

Steps of topping the leaf fairy

Cut off all the extra messy and weak branches around the plant, and then use a bamboo pole to support the remaining branch or bamboo shoot.

Select a few branches of sturdy leaf fairy, cut off the top of the branch 0.5cm from the leaves, and then use a knife to cut a hole about 1cm deep.

When the side branches grow to about 10 cm, if the branches are unevenly arranged, you can use a ribbon to pull them to make them more evenly shaped.
