If the roots are normal, not much treatment is required.

1. Take out the money tree, remove the soil at the roots, and trim the damaged roots. After trimming the roots, rinse the roots and then put them in the pot. Rinse them with 1500 times diluted rooting powder and 1000 times diluted carbendazim, and plant them after they are slightly dry.

2. Put the money tree in the pot. Choose a suitable pot and soil. The soil must have good drainage. You can use a mixture of garden soil, river sand, and sawdust in a ratio of 3:1:1.

3. Place the money tree plant in the center of the flowerpot, then place the swollen part at the lower end into the middle of the flowerpot, secure it in place and fill with soil.

4. When filling the soil of the money tree, you can first put some broken tiles on the top of the flowerpot. When filling the soil, be careful not to leave gaps or fill it too tightly to avoid damaging the plant.

5. After the money tree is potted, you can spray some fungicide. Don’t water it first. Put it in a cool place for a few days, and then water it.

Maintenance of the fortune tree after root pruning and repotting

If the soil of the money tree is a little wet when repotting, there is no need to water it. Just wait two or three days or so before watering it. When watering for the first time, water it thoroughly. There should not be water accumulation in the soil. If the amount of water is too large at this time, the chances of the plant roots rotting will be very high.

There is an acclimatization period for the money tree after transplanting, which is the process of root expansion. After about a week, it can gradually accept sunlight.
