Can chicken manure be used as flower fertilizer?

Chicken manure can be used as flower fertilizer. It contains approximately 1.63%, 1.54% and 0.85% nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Most of these ingredients are nutrients needed for the growth of flowers, which are beneficial for the branches and leaves of flowers to become greener.

Chicken manure can be used for most plants. For example, common flowers include roses, impatiens, sunflowers, vinca roseus, and kalanchoe.

Chicken manure can be used directly as flower fertilizer

Chicken manure cannot be used directly as flower fertilizer. It must be fully decomposed and disinfected before application. If it is used as fertilizer for watering flowers without fermentation, it will affect the root system of the flowers.

Chicken manure as flower fertilizer

1. How to use chicken manure as flower fertilizer

Mix the existing chicken manure with straw, sawdust, mushroom residue, dry soil powder, etc. in appropriate proportions and ferment it for 10-20 days. Finally, dry and crush the fermented chicken manure and apply it directly as flower fertilizer.

2. Use of chicken manure as flower fertilizer

Chicken manure has good fertility and high fertilizer efficiency, but it is not an all-purpose fertilizer. When planting flowers, it must be used together with flower fertilizers with different nutritional values. Even if it is fermented and decomposed, it cannot be buried directly around the flowers. It needs to be kept at a distance from the flowers to avoid root rot.
