Green pepper prefers a warm and humid environment. It is suitable for planting in loose, fertile, deep loam and sandy loam. It can be planted in soil with a pH value of 6.5-8.0, but the best growth results are achieved in the pH range of 7.0-7.5. Sandy soils and soils with heavy clay are not suitable for planting. It is cold-resistant and drought-resistant, but not waterlogged.
