Disease prevention and control of peace thyme

Disease prevention and control of peace thyme

Anthracnose of Peace Tree

Symptoms

Anthracnose mainly occurs on the leaf surface, leaf tips and leaf edges, causing damage to the leaves of seedlings and mature plants. At first, it is irregular brown spots, which then slowly expand into large gray-brown spots with wavy brown edges. There will be many small gray dots on the spots.

Prevention

If any diseased leaves are found, remove them and destroy them immediately. In the early stage of the disease, you can spray 25% charcoal wettable powder 500 times diluted, 60% charcoal wettable powder 700 times diluted, or 75% methyl thiophanate wettable powder 600 times diluted alternately every half a month or so. Spray three or four times in a row.

Brown spot disease of peace pine

Symptoms

At first, oval yellow-brown spots will appear on the leaves, and then slowly expand. Many small black dots will appear in the spots on the front of the leaves, and the back will appear purple, eventually causing the entire leaf to turn yellow and wither and fall off.

Prevention

Observe more often and if you find a small number of diseased leaves, remember to remove them and burn them in time. Use pesticides for alternate spraying treatment - you can spray with 500 times solution of 50% carbendazim wettable powder, or spray with 1000 times solution of 50% benomyl wettable powder. Spray three or four times in succession. Note that spraying needs to be done in the early stage of brown root disease for better results.

Brown root disease of peace pine

Symptoms

When affected by this disease, the leaves will slowly turn yellow and droop, and in severe cases turn brown and wither. The stems will lose water and shrink, and the roots will rot, which is very likely to lead to the death of the plant.

Prevention

In the early stage of the disease, it is necessary to spray pesticides for prevention and control. You can spray 800 times diluted 50% methyl thiophanate sulfur suspension for prevention and control. If seriously diseased plants are found, they must be uprooted and destroyed, and then disinfected. You can use 600 times diluted 50% carbendazim wettable powder.

The health of the peace lily requires everyone's careful care. I hope the above methods can help everyone.
