Forget-me-not seeds introduction

The seeds of forget-me-not grow inside its nuts. After the plant is successfully pollinated, seeds will be produced. The planted seeds are not large in size and can be spread by wind, water and birds.

Forget-me-not seeds planting time

Forget-me-not seeds are generally sown in autumn and winter, from September to January of the following year. Although the plant has strong adaptability to the environment, it is not heat-resistant, so it cannot be planted in a high temperature environment, otherwise the survival rate of the seeds will be reduced.

Forget-me-not seeds planting method

1. Seed selection and germination

Select forget-me-not seeds with full grains and no diseases or insect pests, soak them in warm water for about 6 hours, then wrap them with wet paper towels, spray water every day to keep the plants moist, and keep them away from light.

2. Pot soil preparation

Forget-me-nots are not very demanding on the soil, but it is best to use loose, breathable, slightly alkaline soil for planting. It can be prepared with garden soil, wood ash, leaf mold, and base fertilizer.

3. Sowing

Place the processed forget-me-not seeds in the center of the soil, cover with a thick layer of soil, and then water thoroughly. In the later stage, keep the temperature between 15-20℃.
