The fastest way to root golden marble cuttings

Golden marble cutting time

The time for cuttings of golden ball is mid-April every year. The climate during this period is more suitable. After cuttings, the cuttings can take root as soon as possible and the growth rate is also fast.

Rooting method of cuttings of golden marble

First soak the prepared branches in the rooting agent for half an hour to encourage it to take root as soon as possible, then directly cut them into the prepared potting soil at a depth of about 4 cm. After cutting, place them in a cool place for maintenance.

Golden marble cutting method

Material processing : Mainly choose strong golden marble branches that have been born for many years as cuttings, and then cut them into multiple branches, leaving axillary buds on each branch, and soak the lower end in rooting powder solution for about 1 hour and dry it.

Soil treatment : The soil for cutting is best mixed with 5-minute river sand and 1-minute vegetable garden soil. Deeply turn the soil before cutting and place it in the sun to tan to kill pathogenic bacteria in the soil. Water the soil with enough water to keep it moist, but not too wet. Otherwise, the roots will easily rot.

Cuttings in the soil : Before cuttings, cut the base of the branches into oblique shapes and insert them obliquely into the soil at a depth of one-third of the plant. After watering once to help the roots take shape, place the plants in a sunny environment, control the temperature at around 18-25°C, water the soil once a day, and they will germinate in about 15-20 days.

Rooting time of golden marble cuttings

When taking cuttings of the golden ball plant, choose thick branches that have grown for many years as cuttings. Then they will germinate and take root in about 25 days. It is best to soak the branches in a rooting powder solution for about an hour before taking cuttings.

Determine the rooting of cuttings of golden marble

If you can see that the branches and leaves of the golden ball plant have become straight and look full of vitality, and its leaves and buds have begun to grow, then you can judge that it has taken root.

Watering the newly cut golden marbles

The newly grafted golden balls cannot be watered immediately, otherwise, the wounds of the branches will easily rot and die, which is not conducive to the growth of the plants. After the cuttings, pay attention to controlling the temperature at 20 degrees, water it after a week, and wait patiently for the branches to take root.

Golden marbles exposed to sunlight after cuttings

After the cuttings of the golden ball plant, it can be placed directly outdoors to allow it to grow in the sun, because the golden ball plant needs more sunlight. Cultivating it in the sun can make it grow bigger and faster.
