Flowers

Lavender flowers

Lavender is a plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family, a small shrub, rarely a herb. Its flowers are purple overall, deep and mysterious, with a faint fragrance that seems to fill the air wherever it is taken. The flowering period of lavender is between June and August every year. The flowers bloom in clusters, which are extremely spectacular and beautiful.

The flowers are clustered at both ends of the branches, growing from the top of the branches to the base of the branches. Each flower is small and delicate.

Lavender flowers have a pleasant fragrance and can repel mosquitoes, fleas, etc. Create an elegant and fragrant environment.

Sage flowers

Sage is an aromatic plant. The overall color of its flowers is blue or blue-purple, roughly similar to lavender. They grow opposite each other at both ends of the branches, from the top of the branch to the base. The petals are relatively larger than lavender, thin and covered with fuzz.

The inflorescence is a cyme with 2-6 flowers in each sequence, and its style is elongated, with unequal tips and longer anterior lobes.

Its colors are blue, blue-purple and pink.

Growth habits of lavender

Lavender is mostly distributed in the Atlantic Islands and the Mediterranean region, and is also grown in small quantities in Pakistan and India; in my country, only two species are cultivated.

Growth Habits of Sage

Sage is widely distributed in my country, mainly growing in Zhejiang, southern Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and other regions.

Its growth environment is hillsides, roadsides, shady grass, waterside and under the shade of trees. It can thrive and of course it can also grow in high altitude areas. So this plant is much more common than lavender.
