Mushroom growth cycle

Generally speaking, different mushroom varieties have different growth cycles. For example, the growth cycle of straw mushrooms is 20-30 days, the growth cycle of oyster mushrooms is about 4 months, and the growth cycle of shiitake mushrooms is longer, about 6-7 months.

Mushroom growth rate

The growth cycle of mushrooms mainly includes three main stages: basidiospore, mycelium and fruiting body. The growth rate of mushrooms is generally affected by the temperature of the growth environment. The higher the temperature, the faster the growth rate, and vice versa.

Temperature Management

Mushrooms have different temperature requirements at different development stages. Mycelium grows well between 5 and 32 degrees Celsius, with the most suitable temperature being 22 to 24 degrees Celsius. Fruiting bodies should grow between 7 and 25 degrees Celsius, with the most suitable temperature being 12 to 16 degrees. The suitable temperature for spore growth is 23 to 25 degrees.

Fertilization management

Mushrooms need to be fertilized in time during their growth cycle. During the development of the mushroom fruiting bodies, you can use Green Bokang for evenly spraying. Spraying once every 5-7 days can avoid the occurrence of diseases in time and effectively increase mushroom yields.

At the same time, during the growth period of mushrooms, you can add decomposed human feces and urine. Mix the human feces and urine with water and spray them. After spraying, you can spray it once with clean water to promote the normal growth of mushrooms.
