Pinto bean planting time

Flower beans, also known as kidney beans, are shaped like human kidneys. Flower beans are generally sown in spring because the temperature in various regions is warming up in spring. The best season is March and April. The climate at this time is very suitable. Not only the temperature is suitable, but the humidity is also suitable, and the survival rate of sowing is relatively high.

How to sow pinto beans

When planting flower beans, you must first choose the seeds. The seeds will affect the yield of flower beans. Seeds with full grains are good for the growth of flower beans. You also need to choose suitable soil.

There are two main methods for sowing flower beans, namely seedling transplanting and open field sowing. Seedling transplanting is to sow the soaked seeds in nutrient bags, with about two or three seeds in each bag, while open field sowing is to directly place two or three dry seeds in each prepared pit.

Tips for growing pinto beans

Water should be properly controlled during the seedling stage of the flower bean. If there is insufficient water in the field at the beginning of flowering, a small amount of water can be applied once; when the flower bean enters the peak flowering stage, watering should be started. After that, watering should be done every 10 days or so. When the flower bean enters the maturity stage, the amount of water should be properly controlled and watered throughout the growth period.

Mature beans harvest

Generally speaking, after sowing, if the growing environment is suitable and the beans are properly maintained, it will take about 4-5 months for them to mature.
